Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Held on the Sunday before Memorial Day, the annual Indianapolis 500-mile race has brought fame to this city. With an annual attendance estimated at more than 350,000 people, the Indianapolis 500 is the largest attended single-day sporting event in the world. The Speedway also hosts the annual Brickyard 400 NASCAR race, the SAP United States Grand Prix at Indianapolis Formula One race, and the Comfort Classic at the Brickyard Senior PGA Tour event.
