This stylish Sixties film poster features the suave David Niven in a James Bond spoof two years before he was to play Bond himself in “Casino Royale”. Niven as Doctor Jason Love is recruited by MI6 and sent to the Middle East to defend Britain’s interest in the oil fields. Niven encounters many interesting young ladies as we can see from this colourful film poster! Printed by Stafford & Co. Ltd of Nottingham & London. There are three closed tears measuring 1 inch, & 2x 2 inch tears which we have repaired with conservation tape to the rear. These tears are not very noticeable (one is on the middle dancer girls leg, two on the dancer next to her and another on the 1st black silhouette behind the girl.) Two very small historic water stains at the left and right side border. This said the colours are very bright.
