This panorama, taken by Robert Pettit, spotlights the Illinois State Redbirds playing to 13,391 fans at Hancock Stadium, during Family Weekend. Since 1963, Hancock Stadium has kept fans on top of the game and close to the action. A $27.6 million renovation completed in fall of 2013 included a new east side grandstand, modern press and game day operations, seven suite boxes with premier seating and outdoor terrace spaces. Spirits are high for the Redbirds, as they set a school record for victories in a season and advanced to the FCS Championship Game in 2014.
