Everything about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers franchise was a little bizarre – the uniforms, the draft choices, the personnel decisions…even their home stadium! “The Big Sombrero”, Tampa Stadium, with its odd-shaped grandstands and office tower-like press facility rising from beyond, fit perfectly with the franchise. Still, all the quirkiness created one of the most die-hard followings in all of football. On this day, the packed house has much to cheer about. It’s the third quarter and the Bucs are up on hated rivals the Chicago Bears 20-0.
