This poster entitled “Bloom” by the artist Berit Mogensen Lopez depicts abstract and vaporous forms. It comes from a series of creations la gouache on watercolour paper. The texture, transparency and abstract organic forms of these posters create a floating and dreamlike expression in a colourful unique universe.

Cameos of beige and brown, soft and calm tones, this work breathes serenity and triggers in us a form of appeasement when our eyes rest on the simple shapes that emerge.

Berit Mogensen Lopez is a textile designer with a degree from the Danish School of Design. Since 2001, she has been working mainly on la designing clothing and prints for the clothing industry mode.
In the last two years she has also been working in interior design, developing a line of handmade carpets, on base of the geometric collages she has developed. Thus her work gives the accent on patterns, colours and graphic compositions.
