Stephanie Lord is a resident of Door County, Wisconsin and paints both plein air and in studio. She enjoys painting plein air landscape scenes and her love of animals also inspires her to work on animal scenes and portraits. Stephanie is a member of the American Impressionist Society and American Women Artists. Her work was accepted into the 45th Annual Miller Art Museum Juried Exhibition in Door County in 2020. This piece won the Unanimous Jurors Special Merit Award. She also had two works accepted in the 43rd Annual Miller Art Museum Juried Exhibition in 2018. She had taken many workshops and is a member of the Peninsula School of Art in Door County. Stephanie participated in the Door County Hardy Gallery Wall to Wall event in 2018 and 2019 and was part of the 58th Annual Hardy Gallery Juried Exhibition in 2020.

Quote from artist: “This was painted en plein air near the Mill Supper Club. It has a cool green barn and a ton of chickens running around. Some of the chickens were painted from pictures I took because of all their movement and commotion.”
