Dr. No and Thunderball James Bond double-bill with a superb image of Sean Connery in the classic 007 pose. “Big, Brilliant Bondshell!” is the amazing tag-line for the first time these two films were released together at the cinema as a double-bill. This would have been a real treat back in the day – shame we don’t have double-bills today! The first James Bond film “Dr. No”was released to British cinema goers in 1962 with “Thunderball” being released in 1965. James Bond was so popular that the films would continue to be shown and still are to this day. This British quad cinema poster dates from 1972 featuring the classic artwork from two of the earlier James Bond films together with the unmistakeable portrait of Sean Connery as James Bond taking centre stage. The film poster is in rolled condition with just a very faint vertical fold line at the centre. The poster has a little aging at the right side and bottom left corner with a very small area of acid free paper replacement at the bottom left pinhole corner and a larger repaired paper snag at the top left border above the first ‘i’ of the word ‘brilliant’ as seen. The poster has small pinholes in the corners and tiny paper lift at the bottom edge as seen. Plus a tiny closed tear at the left border. The colours are extremely bright and this dramatic James Bond film poster displays really well.
