After spending hours climbing towers to reveal the world of Hyrule in its entirety it gradually dawned on me how jaw-dropping the map in Breath of the Wild truly is. But studying a map on a screen isn’t as satisfying as poring over a physical one – being able to hold it inches from your face, searching for secrets – just feels better.

I wanted to make a version of the Hylian map that was as exciting to look at as the game itself is to play, full of details and obsessive final-touches. So here we are: a hand-painted, laser-engraved map of Hyrule made out of beautiful birch wood. Each one of these maps is unique, with wood grain adding character to the detailed, high-resolution engraving. All the water and lava features are hand-painted with acrylics, each with slightly different colors and brush strokes. Finally, each map is signed and numbered on the reverse side, and comes ready to hang for display.

This is a limited-production run, the first 10 in the series will feature the mother-of-pearl Triforce inlays in each corner, as pictured.
