While the poster was published in late-1977 or early-1978, the picture used is from the lefty gunslinger’s rookie season of 1976 – in fact, we can pinpoint it to the game of Sunday, October 17, 1976, when first-year expansion franchises went head-to-head, and the Seahawks came out on top for their first-ever regular-season victory, a 13-10 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Absolutely spectacular action shot!
