This is an interesting Walt Disney double-bill British quad as it originates from the first release of the Jungle Book in 1967 and bears the tagline “For a NEW generation… A NEW kind of Swinging Disney!” The main part of the poster is devoted to the Jungle Book but a significant proportion is afforded to the support film ‘The Adventures of Bullwhip Griffin’. ‘The Jungle Book’ would prove in later years to be a true Walt Disney classic and would go on to be rereleased at regular seven yearly intervals at the cinema – not to mention video and DVD releases. This key artwork forms the basis for the films success featuring all seven of the main stars including of course a mention for “Mowgli” the man cub who strides out arm in arm with Baloo the bear and King Louie. This is not an easy poster to find and is the first one we have ever seen.
