From the amazing, vast Sports Illustrated series comes this beautiful Red Sox classic! Reggie Smith was an unheralded rookie who jumped right into the starting lineup in 1967, and helped the team go all the way to a 7-game classic World Series against the St. Louis Cardinals. A great clutch hitter, the young Smith hit two key Home Runs in that series, and went on to a career that, despite serious injuries, saw 314 Home Runs and 1,092 RBI ring off his powerful bat.
