Quote from the artist: I am passionate about sunlight, especially how it plays off the clouds and water. Often, I will adjust the perspective or horizon line of a scene to add drama and properly invite the viewer into my vision. Sometimes just a color inspires me, and I will create a scene to explore that shade. I sometimes add new elements in the foreground or background until the composition reaches harmony, and my story is complete. I am not a purist; I consider myself an artistic explorer, often creating work with unexpected outcomes.
